SheFuture – Female Student Entrepreneurship is a competition jointly organized by ForGood Vietnam and the Center of Service and Learning – University of Economics and Finance in Ho Chi Minh City, aiming to encourage and develop creative thinking, inspire business initiatives among women, and contribute to the national goals of enterprise development and gender equality strategies.

The SheFuture competition is one of the elements contributing to the development of the entrepreneurial and innovative ecosystem in educational institutions, specifically in the southern region. The competition is open to all female students studying at universities, academies, and colleges in the southern region, and it will be implemented from September 2022 to December 2022.

The SheFuture competition’s final round was a resounding success.

The participants in the competition include:

  • Female students currently studying at universities, academies, and colleges in the southern region. They can participate individually or in teams (up to 3 members per team).
  • Individuals or teams entering the competition should have entrepreneurial ideas and plans in various fields.
  • They should demonstrate creativity and avoid copying ideas or business plans that have been previously published or disclosed in any form.

The competition consists of three rounds taking place from September 2022 to December 2022.

Round 1 – SheVision: Participants register their entrepreneurial ideas from September 22nd to October 20th. A SheWho Workshop will also be organized during this stage for students to hear inspiring startup stories from women entrepreneurs.

Talkshow SheWho “The Power of Ordinary People” with the participation of Vo Thai Thao – CMO of Heimat Global Trading LLC and Hellen Lam – CEO & Founder of Hemilys Tea.

Round 2 of SheAction will take place from November 12th to November 13th, 2022. The 35 teams that pass the preliminary round will participate in a 16-hour training session conducted by instructors and experts, and they will also engage in activities organized by the Women’s Entrepreneurship Community Vietnam (WECV). After the training period, the teams will have 2 weeks to finalize their business plans, and the organizing committee will select the top 10 teams to advance to the final round.

The contestants participate in a series of specialized training sessions.

Round 3 SheFuture: Award ceremony and final presentations. The 10 teams will present their prepared business ideas to receive hypothetical investments from the judges. The team that receives the highest investment will be the winner.

The winners of the first, second, and third prizes in the final round of the competition, in addition to material/prize rewards, will receive 1-on-1 entrepreneurial mentoring by experts and/or entrepreneurs for 3 months following the award to refine their ideas and business plans.
